I love shoes. I am not in the same league as Imelda Marcos but I adore pretty shoes so how did I end up trying on what I can only describe as granny sandals yesterday...? Well my size 6 feet have now gone up to a size 6½ all because my arches have fallen. Why have the half sizes disappeared? I have lost count of the amount of shoes I have tried on this summer desperate to part with my money but I am finding it impossible. The 6 is too small and the 7 too big. I have tried half insoles and heel grips all to no avail.

The only shoes I have managed to buy have been fit flops and what a fantastic buy they have been. Not only are they really comfortable but with every step you take they tone and trim your legs. Because I wear trousers all the time I don’t normally notice my legs but today I happened to look at them and they are definitely slimmer all thanks to these wonderful sandals.
