Since my mid twenties I have really looked after my skin. Ok I do like the sun but I always wear sunscreen on my face so why is it that my husbands skin has less wrinkles than me?
I have often thought that life is unfair as many men actually look better as they grow older. Take my husband for example. He has only ever used soap and water on his face and has very few wrinkles wheras I have used a variety of products over the years, have always removed my make-up before going to bed have slathered on moisturiser yet he has less wrinkles than me.
The answer maybe water therapy. I had a look at www.sher.co.uk where Helen Sher a skin guru advises always splashing your face with water up to 40 times once a day. The reason being that the skin will absorb some of the water. She says that moisturisers can only lock in the moisture that is already in the skin and that you need more water to moisturise your skin.
Whether she is right or wrong she certainly looks amazing for her age. I think I will give this water therapy a go.
